April Mitchell, RN, serves as the CEO and nurse manager of Hydration Box in St. Petersburg, Florida, bringing over a decade of nursing experience to her role.

April's journey in healthcare began with the United States Coast Guard, where she gained diverse experience in clinics and ashore settings. Progressing through roles from EMT to flight medic and eventually paramedic during her six-year military service, April honed her skills and dedication to patient care.

Following her military service, April pursued higher education, earning a bachelor's degree in nursing from South University in Tampa, Florida. She then applied her expertise at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, specializing in cardiac step-down care.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for healthcare, April ventured into independent contracting, ultimately founding Hydration Box LLC, a mobile IV hydration therapy business.

In her capacity as nurse manager, April serves as the primary point of contact for contractors and patients, ensuring seamless operations and addressing any inquiries with precision and care. 

Collaborating closely with the medical director, April plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of medical oversight for the mobile clinic.
